Beautiful freeform shape carved large piece of amber featuring a 'sun spangle' inclusion, produced from heating the amber (common practice). The amber is attached with an 875 (87.5% as opposed to 92.5% (sterling) pure silver) silver bale, suspended from an Italian sterling silver box link chain necklace. Made in the Soviet Union.
