This fabulous hinged vintage bangle is a statement piece. With floral/ leaf/ fern engraving over the top half and plain over the bottom half, this sizeable bangle occupies a lovely width on the arm. Made by the family business JC Hurst & Sons in NZ, which started in 1961 - this is one of the early pieces (pre 1973). With a safety chain to ensure you don't lose it, this is a great piece. (We also have an engraved round bangle by this same company!)

Condition - build up of patina etc in the clasp, three dings to the back of the bangle - see photos, some black marks on the front.
